Our mooring is overlooked by the huge windows of the BBC Birmingham Studios, although it is hidden by the pedestrian bridge in this picture. People whizzed around on Voi rental scooters: https://www.voiscooters.com/how-to-voi/.
Vera scouted out the area, finding it a bit light on grass and trees.
Student accommodation seems to have improved since our day.
We wandered along the tow path to Bath Row.
The Worcester and Birmingham Canal provides a green route into the city which has more canals than Venice.
Graffiti artists seemed to be spreading alarm on this tranquil corridor.
The other narrowboats in this picture moved on, leaving us alone on this mooring for the night of Monday 7th June 2021. The Canal & River Trust shower block was conveniently along side us.
