New Energy Inverter (12 volts to 240 volts)

Engineer Darrol from Long Term Narrowboat Hire at Heyford Wharf (Long Term Narrowboat Hire - extended holidays cruising British waterways) came down to the narrowboat to fit a more manly Victron Energy Inverter on The Duke. This led on to a bigger alternator and some serious rewiring. Our 3 leisure batteries proved to be fine.

Vera was keen to help the workers at the Folly Inn with their egg and bacon baps.

In the afternoon we wandered down to Napton Post Office and Store for some more wine and a huge duck egg, which Steve had for breakfast next day. We watched "Unforgotten" via our Roku stick and Huawei MiFi and watched live BBC and ITV (ITV hub) on it as well because there is no conventional television reception here.
