Trotted down to our bathroom at dawn this morning.

Vera gave the game away by leaving muddy paw prints in the vestibule between the toilet and the shower. Sooty, Sweep and Sue being held captive on our neighbouring narrowboat, Sweep’s Dream.

Did our shopping at Wheelock Newsagents.

All set to look like I was robbing the place!

Decided to stay put today as weather forecast was so inclement and hauled our boat down closer to the facilities.

Just a shame that the Cheshire Cheese pub and the restaurant are closed.
