Watchet
01
Watchet is a friendly, vibrant harbour town in the administrative district of West Somerset. The town lies on the West Somerset coast, with its fascinating geology and unspoilt beaches, popular for fossil hunting and rockpooling. Exmoor National Park, the Brendon Hills and the Quantock Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty provide a dramatic green backdrop to the town and Watchet is an ideal centre for exploring the many walking routes, taking in coast, countryside and heritage, that run through or near the town or for touring further afield to the many attractions of Somerset and North Devon.
